The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center is launching its Resilience Forum 2026 on January 27, bringing together government entities, local and international experts to enhance institutional resilience and emergency preparedness. According to the organizing center, the resilience forum will feature participation from various government bodies and companies in the emirate alongside specialized professionals from around the world. The gathering aims to discuss the latest practices and pioneering experiences in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s readiness and institutional resilience capabilities.
Major Announcements and Recognition Ceremonies
The opening day will feature several significant announcements, including the center’s confirmation as host for the Understanding Risk Global Forum 2026 (UR26). Additionally, the event will celebrate the graduation of the fourth and fifth cohorts from the Alternative Service Program, marking an important milestone in emergency preparedness training.
The center will also recognize multiple entities that have successfully completed compliance requirements for the National Business Continuity Standard. This recognition underscores ongoing efforts to standardize emergency response capabilities across Abu Dhabi’s institutional landscape.
