The Cancer Race 2026, presented by Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and organized by Plan B Group, has achieved a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of nationalities participating in a race. The record was set during the Abu Dhabi edition held on Hudayriat Island with support from Abu Dhabi Sports Council, bringing together more than 5,000 participants representing 71 different nationalities.
The event witnessed remarkable diversity as cancer survivors, runners, families, and health advocates from across the United Arab Emirates united in a powerful message of community solidarity.
