The Mohammed bin Rashid Falcon Racing Cup concluded its intense competitions in the general owners category at the Hbab area, organized by the Fazza Championships Management at the Hamdan bin Mohammed Heritage Center in Dubai. The championship wrapped up after four consecutive days featuring 28 races with participation exceeding 1,000 falcons, reinforcing its position as one of the largest falconry competitions in terms of race numbers, participant quality, and prize money exceeding 23 million dirhams, according to official reports.

Top falconers climbed the podium following highly competitive rounds that showcased the skill and precision characteristic of traditional Emirati falconry. The event attracted participants from across the United Arab Emirates and Gulf Cooperation Council countries, highlighting the continued popularity of this heritage sport in the region.

Outstanding Performances in Falcon Racing Competition

In the Pure Gyr category, Saeed Ahmed Al Kindi delivered exceptional performances by winning the Farkh symbol with falcon number 07, recording a time of 16.491 seconds. Al Kindi continued his dominance by topping the Jernas symbol with his falcon Hadi, clocking 16.701 seconds, demonstrating remarkable consistency across multiple races.

Meanwhile, Khalfan Nader Al Qubaisi and Rashid Mohammed Al Mansoori secured advanced positions with minimal time differences, reflecting the high level of competition. The close timing gaps between competitors underscored the quality of training and preparation invested by participating falconers throughout the season.

Qarmosha Category Results

The Qarmosha competitions witnessed Mohammed Khalfan Al Mansoori claiming the Farkh symbol with his falcon Al Haboob, finishing in 16.839 seconds. Additionally, Jumaa Abdullah Al Falahi secured the Jernas symbol with his falcon G2, recording a time of 16.875 seconds amid notably close results that kept spectators engaged until the final moments.

The narrow margins between top finishers demonstrated the advancing standards of falcon training and racing techniques. These developments continue to elevate the Mohammed bin Rashid Falcon Racing Cup as a premier testing ground for falconry excellence in the Gulf region.

Sheikhs Category Launches

The championship also marked the launch of the Sheikhs category races, where Team F3 achieved first place in the Farkh symbol for the Gyr Shaheen category. Furthermore, Team F3 S maintained its strong presence by securing advanced positions in the Jernas races, adding to the competitive atmosphere throughout the event.

According to Rashid Hareb Al Khasouni, Director of Fazza Championships Management, the cup represents a unifying platform for falconers from the UAE and GCC countries. He emphasized that the competition contributes to preserving heritage while reinforcing falconry’s status as an authentic traditional sport.

Heritage Preservation and Development

Al Khasouni highlighted the organization’s commitment to continuously developing the championship’s organization and raising the level of technical competition each season. The substantial prize pool of over 23 million dirhams reflects the significant investment in maintaining falconry traditions while encouraging excellence and innovation in training methods.

The falcon racing event serves as more than just competition, functioning as a cultural gathering that strengthens bonds among falconry enthusiasts across the region. However, organizers remain focused on balancing traditional values with modern sporting standards to ensure the discipline’s continued growth and relevance.

The Fazza Championships Management has not yet announced the complete schedule for upcoming falcon racing events this season. Authorities are expected to release details about future competitions and categories in the coming weeks as the falconry season progresses.
