Azizi Developments is sponsoring the Dubai Racing Carnival meeting at Meydan Racecourse on Friday, 6 February. The event features an eight-race card with international racing on turf and dirt.
The evening programme includes the Lord Glitters Handicap, named after a former Meydan favourite, and the Dubai Trophy for three-year-olds, won in 2024 by Charlie Appleby-trained Symbol of Honour. The card includes four dirt contests at the racecourse.
Mr. Farhad Azizi, Group CEO of Azizi Group, said:
“Our backing of the Dubai Racing Carnival underscores the strong relationship we share with the Dubai Racing Club and our appreciation for a sport that is deeply woven into the UAE’s cultural fabric. Equestrian sport embodies excellence, tradition, and international reach, and the Carnival offers a world-class platform where these values are showcased to a global audience. We are proud to contribute to an event that continues to strengthen Dubai’s position as a premier destination for elite sport and exceptional experiences.”
Ali Al Ali, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Racing Club, welcomed the support from Azizi, saying:
“We are looking forward to welcoming our friends at Azizi back to Meydan Racecourse on Friday, for an exciting and international evening of Carnival racing.”
He added:
“Azizi have been important partners with Dubai Racing Club for several seasons, also sponsoring the G1 Azizi Developments Al Quoz Sprint on Dubai World Cup Day. We thank them once again for their support and wish them an enjoyable night of racing.”
