According to official announcements, the UAE’s advanced infrastructure, business-friendly environment, and strategic vision have positioned it as a bridge connecting East and West. The diverse agenda of events scheduled throughout February demonstrates the nation’s commitment to facilitating idea exchange and identifying future opportunities across multiple sectors.
World Government Summit Leads February International Events
The World Government Summit will take place from February 3 to 5 in Dubai, addressing major global transformations and developments across vital sectors. The summit features a comprehensive forward-looking vision examining key challenges, opportunities, and the role of governments in strengthening community development foundations.
The event will gather more than 6,250 participants, including decision-makers and thought leaders. According to organizers, this year marks the largest leadership participation in the summit’s history, with over 60 heads of state and government and their deputies, more than 500 ministers, and representatives from over 150 governments attending.
Media Coverage and International Participation
The World Government Summit will receive extensive media coverage with more than 840 international, regional, and local journalists in attendance. Additionally, the event has secured participation from over 44 media partners, ensuring widespread global reach for discussions and announcements.
UAE International Conferences Address Human Values and Technology
The Global Conference on Tolerance and Human Fraternity will launch on February 2 in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Human Fraternity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The two-day conference will host more than 180 thinkers, global opinion leaders, executives, and United Nations officials, according to event organizers.
The conference will also welcome numerous academics and researchers from UAE, Arab, and international universities who focus on human fraternity and artificial intelligence. This gathering reflects growing concerns about maintaining human values amid rapid technological advancement.
Education and Digital Commerce Summits
The fifth edition of the Sharjah International Education Development Summit will convene on February 14-15 under the motto “Together We Make an Impact” at the Sharjah Academy for Education in University City. The summit’s program will feature advanced training courses, dialogue sessions, and specialized workshops addressing crucial issues including artificial intelligence in education, educational equity, future skills, and school improvement models.
Meanwhile, Dubai will host the second edition of “Worldef Dubai 2026,” the global forum specialized in digital commerce, from February 12 to 14. The event is expected to expand significantly in size and international scope, with 200 speakers representing leading institutions and companies in the digital commerce sector.
Sports and Healthcare Events Round Out February Calendar
Abu Dhabi will host the “Abu Dhabi Masters Games 2026” from February 6 to 15, with expectations that participant numbers will exceed 25,000 athletes representing more than 100 nationalities. These athletes will compete across more than 37 different sports, according to event organizers.
In contrast, Dubai will organize the Dubai World Health Exhibition “Dubai WHX 2026” from February 9 to 12 at Expo Dubai City. The exhibition will gather major medical entities and healthcare professionals from around the world and will feature an advanced program on Medical Solutions for Healthcare (MESH) innovation presented by Mass General Brigham, one of the world’s leading integrated academic healthcare organizations.
As February approaches, authorities have not yet announced specific attendance projections for all events, though organizers expect record participation across most conferences. The success of these gatherings will likely influence the UAE’s positioning for future international events and reinforce its status as a global meetings destination.
