The United Arab Emirates is set to become a global hub for international dialogue and innovation this February, hosting a series of major summits, conferences, and exhibitions that will bring together government leaders, business executives, decision-makers, and experts from around the world. The packed agenda highlights the UAE’s position as a premier destination for international events, supported by advanced infrastructure and a strategic vision that bridges East and West.
The lineup of February events includes the World Government Summit in Dubai, the Global Conference on Tolerance and Human Fraternity in Abu Dhabi, and several specialized forums covering education, digital commerce, sports, and healthcare. According to official announcements, these gatherings will attract tens of thousands of participants from more than 100 countries.
World Government Summit Anchors February Event Calendar
The World Government Summit, scheduled from February 3 to 5 in Dubai, will serve as the centerpiece of the UAE’s international events in February. The summit will address major global transformations and developments across vital sectors with a comprehensive forward-looking vision. According to organizers, the event will feature the largest leadership participation in its history, with more than 60 heads of state and government and their deputies, alongside over 500 ministers representing more than 150 governments.
The summit is expected to gather more than 6,250 participants, including policymakers, thought leaders, and global experts. Additionally, the event will receive extensive media coverage, with more than 840 international, regional, and local journalists attending, supported by over 44 media partners.
Tolerance Conference Addresses AI and Human Brotherhood
The Global Conference on Tolerance and Human Fraternity will launch on February 2 in Abu Dhabi under the theme “Human Fraternity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The two-day conference will bring together more than 180 thinkers, global opinion leaders, executives, and United Nations officials. The gathering will also include academics and researchers from Emirati, Arab, and international universities interested in human fraternity and artificial intelligence applications.
Meanwhile, Sharjah will host the fifth edition of the Sharjah International Education Development Summit on February 14 and 15 under the slogan “Together We Make Impact.” The summit program includes advanced training courses, dialogue sessions, and specialized workshops discussing pivotal issues such as the role of AI in education, educational equity, future skills, and school improvement models.
Digital Commerce and Sports Take Center Stage
Dubai will host the second edition of WorldeDev Dubai 2026, a global forum specialized in digital commerce, from February 12 to 14. The event is expected to witness significant growth in scale and international scope, with 200 speakers representing leading institutions and companies in the digital commerce sector. According to event organizers, more than 10,000 visitors from over 80 countries are anticipated, alongside more than 150 exhibiting entities and 120 retail brands.
However, the most prominent event on Abu Dhabi’s sports agenda will be the Abu Dhabi Masters Games 2026, running from February 6 to 15. The event is expected to exceed 25,000 athletes representing more than 100 nationalities competing in over 37 different sports. The Masters Games, held every four years, is considered the world’s largest international multi-sport event for community participation.
Healthcare Innovation Showcased at Dubai Exhibition
Dubai will organize the World Healthcare Exhibition “Dubai WHX 2026” from February 9 to 12 at Expo Dubai City, bringing together major medical entities and healthcare professionals from around the globe. The exhibition will host an advanced program on innovation in medical solutions designed for healthcare (MESH) presented by Mass General Brigham, one of the world’s leading integrated organizations in academic healthcare systems and the largest hospital network in the United States.
The concentration of international events in February 2026 reflects the UAE’s continued momentum as a global destination for major gatherings, though final attendance figures and specific outcomes from these events will only be confirmed after they conclude. The UAE government has not disclosed exact economic impact projections for this month’s packed event schedule.
