Blume has introduced its Ramadan Iftar programme, Gatherings of the Silk Road. The four-course experience takes inspiration from Silk Road caravan traditions and is priced at AED 240 per person.
Service runs from 6pm to 8pm each day throughout Ramadan. The format centres on shared plates and sunset dining for families and groups.
Each Blume location offers a distinct setting. The Fashion Avenue site at The Dubai Mall uses designer train carriage interiors. Dubai Marina features garden aesthetics and views across the waterfront.
Service begins with a sharing spread: warm breads, house dips, stuffed vine leaves, aged tulum with burnt butter, premium Ajwa and Medjoul dates, and a seasonal salad dressed with olive oil and lemon.
A soup course follows with two options: lentil soup enriched with butter, cumin and sweet paprika, or the daily soup. Hot starters arrive next for sharing, featuring pan-sautéed calf liver with warm spices, Turkish kol böreği, Ashur slow-cooked cracked wheat and meat stew, and traditional icli kofte.
For the main course, guests select from slow-cooked lamb shoulder served with rice pilaf, pistachio and brown butter, grilled chicken skewers with roasted pepper and tomato, Blume signatures including Ali Nazik and Turkish manti, or the chef’s daily preparation.
Desserts include baked rice pudding topped with roasted hazelnuts, gullach made with milk-soaked pastry sheets, pistachio and pomegranate seeds, or Umm Ali baked bread pudding with milk and mixed nuts. Water, Turkish tea and şerbet come with the meal.
