The programming director emphasized that this year’s content places special emphasis on family themes, aligning with the UAE’s designated “Year of the Family.” The Ramadan 2026 programming aims to strengthen family bonds and reinforce authentic social values through carefully selected content that respects the holy month’s significance.
Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, Director of the Authority, stated that the Ramadan programs respond to community aspirations while focusing on raising public awareness about the importance of the blessed month. The authority has ensured that this year’s programs are more distinctive by selecting content that suits community taste and heritage, according to official statements.

Religious programming remains a cornerstone of the schedule, with shows including “Fatawa,” “Ebad Al Rahman,” “Fi Rehab Sura,” and Quranic recitations. Educational and cultural programs round out the offerings with “Al Madaress Al Qasimiya,” “Diwan Al Arab,” “Asl Al Khat,” “Hikayat Min Al Sharqiya,” “Bekom Tehla,” and “Al Araba.” Furthermore, Sharjah 2 Channel continues its educational and cultural mission with programs such as “Al Majlis Al Ramadani,” “Masar Al Shabab,” and “Aswat Muathera.”
