Galaxy S26 Series available for pre-order in the UAE until 10th March, with upgraded Galaxy AI capabilities and an industry-first built-in Privacy Display on the Ultra model

Samsung Gulf Electronics has launched the Galaxy S26 Series, its third generation of AI-enabled smartphones, alongside the Galaxy Buds4 Series. The devices are available for pre-order across the UAE until 10th March. The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra are designed to handle more tasks in the background, reducing the number of steps users need to take to get things done on their phones.

A more intuitive AI experience

The Galaxy S26 Series uses context-aware features to anticipate what users need. Now Nudge and Now Brief provide timely suggestions and personalised reminders, while an upgraded Circle to Search with Google adds improved multi-object recognition. Bixby has been updated to work more like a conversational assistant, allowing users to adjust settings and navigate their phone using natural language. Users can also choose from integrated agents including Gemini and Perplexity.

Privacy and security

The Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces what Samsung describes as the industry’s first built-in Privacy Display. The feature controls how pixels disperse light, keeping the screen clear for the user while reducing visibility from side angles. Users can customise how and when it activates, with modes including Partial Screen Privacy for notifications and Maximum Privacy Protection for more sensitive use. AI-powered Call Screening also runs in the background, helping to identify unknown callers and summarise their intent.

Camera and video

The Galaxy S26 Series includes enhanced Nightography for clearer low-light photography and video. Galaxy AI tools support on-device editing and content creation, giving users the ability to capture, refine, and share with fewer steps than before.

Performance and battery

The Galaxy S26 Series runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, which Samsung says is its most powerful Galaxy S chipset to date, optimised for AI workloads, power efficiency, and heat management. Super Fast Charging 3.0 charges the device to 75% in 30 minutes.

Fadi Abu Shamat, Vice President and Head of the Mobile eXperience Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “The Galaxy S26 Series represents a meaningful shift in how users will experience mobile technology moving forward, as we move from smartphones to AI-native phones. With the unveiling of the series, we have seen tremendous interest and a very strong early response from customers and partners. We expect that momentum to translate into strong pre-order performance and meaningful business impact. Alongside new intelligent experiences powered by Galaxy AI, we’re also addressing a very real everyday concern: privacy in public spaces. With intelligent privacy screen protection, Galaxy S26 Ultra helps users feel more confident using their device wherever life happens.”

Galaxy Buds4 Series

The Galaxy Buds4 Series is designed to pair with the Galaxy S26 and work across the Samsung ecosystem. The earbuds feature Hi-Fi audio with clear sound reproduction and low distortion, and are built for all-day wear. They are intended for use across calls, commuting, and general listening throughout the day.
