His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with Evika Siliņa, Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, during the preparatory day for the World Government Summit 2026. The meeting took place in the presence of senior officials including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, highlighting the significance of the World Government Summit as a platform for international governmental dialogue.
The summit officially launches today under the theme “Envisioning the Governments of the Future” and will continue for three days. According to official reports, more than 60 heads of state and government, over 500 ministers, and representatives from more than 150 governments are participating in this year’s event.
