Honda Motor Co. Middle East & Africa used Valentine’s Day at Dubai Autodrome to run a dedicated CBR Experience Day at the National Circuit, opening the event to customers, media, and invited VIP guests.

The day opened with guest registration and a presentation covering the CBR600RR, CBR1000RR-R Fireblade, and CBR650R, including Honda’s “World’s First E-Clutch” system. Isle of Man TT riders John McGuinness MBE and Dean Harrison then entered the auditorium to a strong reception from the crowd. The two shared their experience of the world’s most demanding road race and took questions from the audience.

The event centred on the CBR range, giving riders and enthusiasts a close look at Honda’s SuperSport machines and the racing-derived technology behind them. The bikes on show feature aerodynamic winglets, refined chassis engineering, and an electronics package that allows riders to adjust settings from beginner to advanced track use. The lineup reflects Honda’s long-running development of the CBR family, informed by decades of competition at the highest level.

Track sessions formed the core of the day. Riders took to the National Circuit and, in a notable addition to the programme, shared the track with McGuinness and Harrison. Riding alongside two Isle of Man TT champions gave the sessions a level of racing credibility that set the day apart from a standard product showcase.

While track sessions ran, families and guests used the Honda Fun Zone set up alongside the circuit. The area included a live DJ, interactive competitions, a bike simulator, and dining space. Dinner ran in parallel with the track rotation, giving guests time to socialise and take in Honda’s wider performance display.

The event also featured a broader selection of Honda’s portfolio, including the Honda Pilot, CR-V, and new ZR-V, as well as Ayrton Senna’s Formula One car and a V5 MotoGP RC211V race bike. The display reinforced Honda’s presence across multiple motorsport disciplines.

The day closed with a meet-and-greet session where guests spent time with McGuinness and Harrison and received signed posters to mark the occasion.

Commenting on the occasion, Raj Johal, General Manager, Honda Motor Co. Middle East & Africa, said: “CBR has always represented the heart of Honda’s performance philosophy. Hosting this experience at Dubai Autodrome allows us to put our motorcycles where they belong, on track, while giving riders direct access to our latest CBR models and to two icons of the Isle of Man TT. It is about celebrating performance, heritage and the passion that connects people to Honda.”

The CBR Experience Day is part of Honda Motor Co. Middle East & Africa’s ongoing regional programme, which aims to build stronger ties with the riding community and demonstrate Honda’s performance credentials through events grounded in real-world riding.
