Hi! I'm here to help you understand this article. Ask me anything about the content!

Thumbay Hospital Fujairah held a large-scale Free Mega Health Camp in February 2026, in partnership with Kairali Association. Hundreds of residents attended to receive health screenings, specialist consultations, and diagnostic services at a single location.

The camp was built on the principle that early detection and prevention produce better health outcomes than treating illness after the fact. Residents received free consultations across several medical specialties, backed by laboratory tests, X-ray, ECG, and ultrasound services. The strong turnout pointed to a growing awareness in the community of the value of regular health checks.

Dr. Manish Singhal, Chief Operating Officer of Thumbay Hospital Fujairah, said that making healthcare accessible sits at the heart of the hospital’s work. He noted that healthcare must be proactive and community-driven, and that events like this one are designed to catch health concerns early while helping people make informed choices about their own wellbeing. He also pointed to the value of working with Kairali Association, stating that strong partnerships play a key role in improving community health.

Dr. C. R. Sathyanarayanan, Medical Director and Head of Internal Medicine, added a clinical view, noting that preventive medicine has a direct impact on long-term health outcomes. He said that screening large numbers of people through a single event gives doctors the chance to offer timely guidance and reduce the risk of complications through early action.

A team of doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff ran the camp, managing the flow of patients from registration through to consultation and diagnostics. The process was structured to be straightforward and patient-friendly throughout.

Mr. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, Vice President of the Healthcare Division at Thumbay Healthcare, said that community outreach is a core part of the group’s approach to healthcare. He explained that Thumbay Healthcare aims not only to deliver advanced care within its hospitals but also to bring preventive and accessible services directly to communities across the UAE. He said that each health camp strengthens the relationship between hospitals and the people they serve, helping to ensure that care reaches individuals before their condition worsens.

He added that Thumbay Healthcare continues to invest in diagnostic equipment, specialist expertise, and patient-centred care across its network. This includes advanced imaging, fully equipped laboratories, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, and a range of specialist clinics. Initiatives like this health camp, he noted, bring that institutional capacity into direct contact with the public.

Thumbay Hospital Fujairah closed the event by thanking Kairali Association, its leadership, and its volunteers for their role in organising the camp and encouraging community participation. The event marks a further step in the hospital’s ongoing effort to promote preventive healthcare and early diagnosis across Fujairah and the wider region.
