Hi! I'm here to help you understand this article. Ask me anything about the content!

ASICS took part in the RAK Half Marathon as Official Partner, supporting around 12,000 runners across four race distances: 2km, 5km, 10km and 21km.

The brand used its presence at the event to build on its position within the running community across the region, offering support to runners of all abilities.

At the race village, ASICS ran an activation centred on the GEL-Nimbus™ 28. Runners could visit a photo wall and a shoe customisation station, where staff printed each participant’s race time directly onto their shoes — giving them a physical record of their run to take home.

The activation brought together product and personal experience, linking runners to their performance in a direct and practical way.

Elite athletes Sarra Lajnef Taylor and Abdel Lali competed on the day, joined by thousands of recreational runners on the Ras Al Khaimah course.

ASICS used the RAK Half Marathon to demonstrate its focus on movement and performance, offering products and on-the-ground experiences that served runners throughout race day.
